Caught in a Book

Stories can mess with your head. They can get you so worked up that you accost unsuspecting friends and family and force them to listen to you rant about the faulty reasoning exhibited by a fictional character at a crucial fictional moment. And when they look at you like they’re humouring a lunatic and would really rather be somewhere else, you cry that they have no soul and can’t understand the epic human drama that the story tells. It’s all very tragic.

So, to spare the well meaning but unimaginative people in my life, I started this review blog.

             n. (origin: bengali) – fables, tales, anecdotes, fiction, allegory, saga, fantasy…

This is a special section of my blog where I put up short and long-format stories that I’m working on. Some are finished, some will remain works in progress for ever. Critiques are welcome! And in that vein, if you write in the speculative fiction genre and want me to give it a read, reach out through the comments!

Yours Truly,

A Mythical Beast
